About the Role
Are you a tech-savvy problem solver who enjoys making hardware and software play nice together? EGP Document Solutions is looking for an entry level IT Help Desk Support Technician to join our team. You’ll be the go-to person for ensuring our clients’ multi-function printers (MFPs) and office technology are seamlessly integrated into their networks.
This isn't just a "sit behind a desk" job, you’ll be a bridge between traditional office hardware and modern IT infrastructure.
What You’ll Do
- Troubleshoot printing, scanning, and connectivity issues for clients via phone, remote desktop, or occasional site visits.
- Assist our delivery team with equipment and network integration.
- Configure IP addresses, subnets, and gateways to get copiers live on client networks.
- Install and support print drivers, document management software, and "scan-to-email" (SMTP/SMB) workflows.
- Assist clients in setting up secure print features and ensuring devices meet their internal security protocols.
What We’re Looking For
- No experience required. We will train you for the postition.
- You don’t just follow a script; you enjoy digging into a problem until it’s fixed.
- You can explain technical solutions to non-technical users without the jargon.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and reliable transportation.
